Women's Basketball - Wed, Feb. 6, 2013

The St. Clair County Community College remained ranked sixth in the NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll. The Skippers are 20-1 overall and 10-1 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference.  Kalamazoo Valley Community College held onto the seventh spot in this week's poll. The Cougars are 18-2 overall and 9-1 in the MCCAA Western Conference. Lake Michigan College moved up one spot to number nine in this week rankings.  The Red Hawks are 18-4 overall and 9-1 in the MCCAA Western Conference.  The Cougars and the Red Hawks have both clinched spots in the NJCAA District G women's basketball tournament.  Macomb Community College dropped one spot to number 13 in this week's rankings. The Monarchs are 19-1 overall and 10-1 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference.  Both the Monarchs and the Skippers can both clinch spots in the NJCAA District H women's basketball tournament with wins tonight.   

Lansing Community College moved into the others receiving votes category for the first time this season. The Stars are 18-4 on the season and 8-2 in the MCCAA Western Conference and can clinch a spot in the NJCAA District G Tournament with a win tonight.
