Women's Basketball - Wed, Feb. 8, 2017

The Kalamazoo Valley Community College women's basketball team is ranked sixth for the second straight week in the NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll. The Cougars are 17-3 and 9-1 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They defeated Glen Oaks Community College and number 20 Lake Michigan College last week. They will travel to Ancilla College and Kellogg Community College for games this week. 

Lake Michigan College remained at number 20 for the season straight week in the poll. The Red Hawks are 16-5 overall and 8-2 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They beat Kellogg Community College before losing to number six Kalamazoo Valley Community College last week. They will host Mid Michigan Community College and Jackson College in games this week. 

Macomb Community College entered the poll this week in the other school receiving votes category. The Monarchs are 12-8 and 8-0 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. They Delta College and St. Clair County Community College last week. This week they will hit to road to face Alpena Community College and Wayne County Community College District. 

Muskegon Community College is in the other schools receiving votes category for another week.  They Jayhawks are 14-4, 7-2 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They defeated Ancilla College and Grand Rapids Community College last week. They will host Kellogg Community College on Wednesday and then travel to Lansing Community College on Saturday.
