Women's Basketball - Wed, Feb. 15, 2017

The Kalamazoo Valley Community College women's basketball team remains at number six in the NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll. The Cougars are 19-3 overall and 11-1 MCCAA Western Conference. They have clinched to a berth in the NJCAA District G women's basketball tournament in March. They defeated Ancilla College and Kellogg Community College last week. The Cougars will play at Muskegon Community College tonight and then host Mid Michigan Community College on Saturday. 

 

Lake Michigan College is ranked 20th again this week. The Red Hawks are 18-5 overall and 10-2 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They beat Mid Michigan Community College and Jackson College last week. They will host Grand Rapids Community College on Wednesday before traveling to Lansing Community College on Saturday. 

Macomb Community College is in the other schools receiving votes category again this week. The Monarch lead the MCCAA Eastern Conference with 13-8 overall record and a 9-0 MCCAA Eastern Conference mark. They have clinched a berth in the NJCAA District 10 Tournament after beating Alpena Community College in their only game last week. They will travel to Wayne County Community College District tonight before hosting Oakland Community College on Saturday. 

Muskegon Community College is also in the other schools receiving votes category again this week. The Jayhawks are 16-4 ovarall and 10-2 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They have clinched a berth in the NJCAA District 9 Tournament in March. They defeated Kellogg Community College and Lansing Community College last week. They will host number six Kalamazoo Valley Community College tonight and then travel to Glen Oaks Community College on Saturday.
