Grand Rapids Community College fresh off their NJCAA Division II National Tournament appearance are ranked 13th in the NJCAA Division II Pre-Season Volleyball Poll. The Raiders finished 28-8 overall last season and finished tenth at the NJCAA Division II Nationals. They won the MCCAA Western Conference with a 16-0 record. Grand Rapids also won the MCCAA and NJCAA District E Volleyball Championship. The Raiders opened their season on Tuesday with a straight set conference victory over Grand Rapids Community College. 

Schoolcraft College is ranked 14th in the pre-season poll. The Ocelots were the MCCAA Eastern Conference champs last season with 11-1 record in the conference and a 23-5 overall record. They finished third at the MCCAA/NJCAA District E Volleyball Tournament last season. They will kick-off the 2017 campaign at the Lorain County CC Tri-Match this Saturday. 

Muskegon Community College is ranked 19th in the pre-season rankings. The Jayhawks finished last season as the runner-up at the MCCAA/NJCAA District E Tournament. They finished second in the MCCAA Western with a 14-2 conference record and a 32-12 overall record. They opened the 2017 season with a three set victory over Jackson College.
