Softball - Sat, May. 7, 2016

The Muskegon Community College softball team claimed their third MCCAA Softball title since 2010 when they defeated Lansing Community College 3-1 in the championship game of the MCCAA Softball Tournament, today at Ranney Park in Lansing. The wins moved the Jayhawks record to 38-12 for the for season.

Men's Basketball - Mon, Apr. 11, 2016

Lansing Community College sophomore guard Javon Haines has been named a NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball First Team All-American. Haines led the Stars to 31-5 overall record and a 14-2 MCCAA Western Conference record. The Stars won the Western Conference and NJCAA District 9 Tournament and a berth in the NJCAA National Tournament. The Stars finished fifth in the tournament. Haines averaged 24.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.1 blocks in 36 games this season. 

 
Women's Basketball - Mon, Apr. 11, 2016

Lake Michigan College freshman guard Hailey Maas has been named as a NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball Second Team All-American. Maas helped led the Red Hawks to their fifth straight NJCAA District G Championship and National Tournament appearance. The Red Hawks finished the year with a 27-7 overall record and a 13-3 in MCCAA Western Conference record. 

Softball - Thu, Apr. 7, 2016

The Kellogg Community College softball team moved up three spots to number nine in this week's NJCAA Division II women's softball poll. The Bruins are 15-3 overall and 7-1 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They will try and play for the first time in a week, due to the horrid Michigan weather, when host Kalamazoo Valley Community College on Tuesday, April 12.
