MCCAA - Tue, Jun. 30, 2015

354 athletes in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association earned academic awards at the MCCAA and NJCAA level of the 2014-15 school year. All 354 athletes earned Academic All-Conference awards.  To be eligible for the Academic All-Conference Award from the MCCAA, an athlete must have completed at least 36 credits with an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Kalamazoo Valley Community College's Kaylynn Carpenter and Oakland Community College's Jessica Berner have won the Marucci Elite Hitter Award. The award is presented to the player with the highest batting average in each district that were on the All-Region Team and nomimated for All-American consideration.

Two Michigan Community College Athletic Association baseball players have earned NJCAA Division II All-American honors for the 2015 season. 

MCCAA - Wed, Jun. 10, 2015

Outgoing Macomb Community College athletic director Brent Biebuyck has been awarded the MCCAA Distinguished Service Award. The award is given to people who have made significant contributions to community college athletics on the MCCAA level.
