            <title>[Women's Basketball] Jackson's White named NJCAA Division II player of the week</title>

            <description>&lt;p&gt;Jackson Community College sophomore guard Kelsey white has been named NJCAA Division II women&amp;#39;s basketball player of the week. &amp;nbsp;White scored 18 points and hit four three pointers as the Jets lost to Lansing CC 89-87. &amp;nbsp;She then scored 13 points, grabbed five rebounds and four steals in a 122-98 loss to Lake Michigan College. &amp;nbsp;Last week White set a national record for three pointers hit in a game.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

The Bears once again this week earned all 12 first place votes. &amp;nbsp;They are 25-1 overall and 14-1 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

            <description>&lt;p&gt;Lansing Community College sophomore guard Nate Duhon has been named NJCAA Division II men&amp;#39;s basketball player of the week. &amp;nbsp;Duhon scored 31 points and grab nine rebounds in a 90-88 win over Muskegon Community College. &amp;nbsp;He also hit the game winning shot with just 3 second left. &amp;nbsp;He then scored 32 points on 13 of 19 shooting in the Stars 99-77 win over Ancilla College. .&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

            <description>&amp;nbsp;&lt;p&gt;The Ancilla College Men's and Women's basketball team uniforms will be going from blue and gold to pink on Saturday and now the players have a good idea why.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;On Saturday, February 18&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; the Chargers will take on Kalamazoo Valley Community College for their annual Ounce of Prevention fundraiser basketball game. They will wear pink uniforms that day to symbolize their support for Breast Cancer Awareness.&amp;nbsp; On Friday, Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center oncology patient navigator Lois Carver spoke to the Chargers about what it is like to be a patient facing the diagnosis of cancer. Carver serves as a patient advocate to insure that they receive the support and knowledge they need as they work their way through the health care system.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

            <description>&amp;nbsp;&lt;p&gt;Kelsey White, a sophomore shooting guard for JCC from Jackson Northwest High School set a National Junior College Athletic Association Division II record for number of three pointers in a game recording 13&amp;nbsp; (old record was 12) as the JCC Jets defeated Ancilla College 125-77.&amp;nbsp; White knocked down 50 points in her effort to lead the Jets.&amp;nbsp; She hit 9 of her 13 threes in the first half alone.&amp;nbsp; She was 13-26 from the arch last night.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

            <description>&amp;nbsp;&lt;p&gt;PLYMOUTH, INDIANA &amp;ndash; Ancilla College student-athletes work hard at their sport and in the classroom, but they also take time out to give back to the local community as well.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Student-athletes from the Ancilla softball and volleyball programs were on hand as volunteers during the St. Michael's School &quot;A Night in Italy&quot; fundraiser late last month. The student-athletes helped with set-up, serving during the event and clean-up.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

            <title>[Women's Basketball] Muskegon's Saunders named NJCAA women's basketball player of the week</title>

            <description>&lt;p&gt;Muskegon Community College sophomore guard Sudan Saunders has been named NJCAA Division II women&amp;#39;s basketball player of the week for the week ending February 6, 2012. &amp;nbsp;Saunders, 5-10, recorded a triple-double and and double-double in the Jayhawks two games last week. Muskegon was 1-1 on the week. &amp;nbsp;Saunders had 24 points and ten rebounds in the Jayhawks 76-54 win over Ancilla College. &amp;nbsp;Saunders then had 34 points, 13 rebounds, ten assists and five steals in the Jayhawks 109-104 loss to Jackson. She was 13 of 15 from the floor against the Jets. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
