Top ranked Louisiana State University-Eunice took advantage of nine walks and four hit by pitches to defeat Kellogg Community College 8-1 in the winner's bracket of the NJCAA Division II Baseball World Series. Kellogg CC now falls into the loser's bracket, where they will face University of Connecticut Avery Point at 4:00 PM this afternoon.

The Kellogg Community College baseball team defeated University of Connecticut Avery Point 4-3 in 10 innings today at the NJCAA Division II World Series in Enid, OK.  The Bruins came back from a 3-1 deficit to claim the victory. The Bruins are now 39-14 on the season and will face the top ranked Louisiana State University-Eunice on Wednesday at 8 PM EDT.

After two days of rain delays, Kellogg Community College finally got to play their first game at the NJCAA Division II World Series at David Allen Memorial Park in Enid, OK.  The wait didn't seem to bother the Bruins, as they defeated North Iowa Area Community College 5-1 this afternoon.

The Kellogg Community College baseball team is ranked 13th in the NJCAA Division II baseball pre-season poll. The Bruins were 34-21 last season and finished third in the MCCAA. They finished second in the NJCAA Region XII Tournament last season. Kellogg returns 12 players and seven starters from last year. The Bruins are picked to win the North District which includes all teams in Region XII.
