Defending MCCAA baseball champions Kellogg Community College is ranked fifth in the NJCAA Division II pre-season baseball poll. The Bruins, who finished last season with a 39-16 overall record and a 23-3 MCCAA record, won the Region XII tournament. They went 2-2 at the NJCAA National Tournament. No other MCCAA were ranked in the NJCAA Division II poll. The MCCAA conference season will kick off on April 2 and will feature an additional team this season as Schoolcraft College has added baseball.

Two Michigan Community College Athletic Association baseball players have earned NJCAA Division II All-American honors for the 2015 season.

Top ranked Louisiana State University-Eunice took advantage of nine walks and four hit by pitches to defeat Kellogg Community College 8-1 in the winner's bracket of the NJCAA Division II Baseball World Series. Kellogg CC now falls into the loser's bracket, where they will face University of Connecticut Avery Point at 4:00 PM this afternoon.

The Kellogg Community College baseball team defeated University of Connecticut Avery Point 4-3 in 10 innings today at the NJCAA Division II World Series in Enid, OK.  The Bruins came back from a 3-1 deficit to claim the victory. The Bruins are now 39-14 on the season and will face the top ranked Louisiana State University-Eunice on Wednesday at 8 PM EDT.
