The Kellogg Community College baseball team is ranked 10th in this year's pre-season NJCAA Division II pre-season baseball poll. The Bruins overall record was 35-24 last season and were 19-11 in the MCCAA last season.  They won the NJCAA Region XII baseball tournament and finished fourth in the NJCAA Division II baseball tournament.  

DONALDSON, INDIANA – The Ancilla College baseball team and JESSE Kids teamed up recently as college athletes and local youths took the diamond for a three inning game. 

Former Lake Michigan College standout pitcher Duane Below did not pitch bad in his second Major League Baseball start with the Detroit Tigers but it also was not quite good enough either.  Below took the loss in the Tigers 6-3 lose to the Chicago White Sox.

Duane Below, who pitched at Lake Michigan College in 2005 and 2006, has earned a second start for the Detroit Tigers as the travel to take on the Chicago White Sox on Monday at U.S. Celluar Field.  Below earned First Team All-MCCAA selections in 2005 and 2006 for the Indians, will try to help the Tigers increase their one game lead over the Cleveland Indians.
