DONALDSON, INDIANA – Ancilla College Athletic Director Gene Reese recently announced the resignation of Charger Soccer coach James Drzewiecki, effective February 1, due to his acceptance of the head coaching job for the newly formed Purdue Calumet soccer program in Hammond, Indiana.

Schoolcraft College sophomore midfielder Marco Lobo has been named a NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer First Team All-American.  Lobo, who was a Second Team All-American last season, scored 13 goals and added nine assists in 18 games this season.  Lobo was the only MCCAA soccer player, men's or women's, to be named to the All-American Team this season.

The Schoolcraft College men's soccer team dropped five spots to number six in this week's NJCAA Division I soccer poll.  The Ocelots lost in a shootout last Saturday to the College of Southern Maryland in the North Central District Championship.   Scoreless through 2 overtimes, the Hawks won 5-4 on penalty kicks to advance to the NJCAA Division I Nationals hosted by Paradise Valley Community College in Phoenix, AZ.  Schoolcraft finishes the season with an overall record of 22-0-1.
