Women's Cross Country - Sat, Nov 12, 2011

The Macomb Community College women's cross country team finished fifth at the NJCAA Division I women's cross country national championship hosted by New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs, NM.  The Monarchs finished just ahead of Lansing Community College who finished sixth.  Kayla Pfund of Macomb Community College finished fourth to earn First Team All-American honors with a time of 19:09.32.  Louisa Coppola of Macomb also earned First Team All-American honors finishing fifth with a time 19:13.01.  Mayce Varacalli of Mott Community College earned Honorable Mention All-American honors finishing 11th in a time of 19:53.42.

Women's Cross Country - Sun, Nov 6, 2011

Schoolcraft College freshman cross country runner finished 17th at the NJCAA Division III National cross country championship in Westfield, MA on Saturday.  Mozdy finished the five kilometer course in 20:35.87.  Sophomore Madeline LaFave finished 36th in the race.  She ran the course in 21:25.22.

The Macomb Community College women's cross country team dropped two spots to number three in this week's NJCAA Division I women's cross country poll.  The Monarchs won the MCCAA and Region XII cross country championship meets last week.

Women's Cross Country - Sun, Oct 30, 2011

The Macomb Community College women's cross country team are the Michigan Community College Athletic Association and NJCAA Region XII women's cross country champions.  The Monarchs break Lansing Community College nine year streak of winning the title.  Macomb had the top four finishers in the race and Kayla Pfund was the individual champions.  Kayla Smade, Louisa Coppola and Paige Hoag along with Pfund earned both All-MCCAA and All-Region honors.
