The Lansing Community College women's cross country team is ranked seventh in the season's first United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches poll. The Stars ran at the non-scoring Spartan Invitational last week and will next compete at the Greater Louisville Classic on September 30th at Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, KY

Women's Cross Country - Sat, Nov. 12, 2016

The Lansing Community College women's cross country team is the NJCAA Division I National Champions for the second consecutive year. The Stars won the NJCAA Division I Cross Country National held today in El Dorado, KS.  Lansing finished with 103 points just three points ahead of second place Central Arizona College. They were lead by Casey Mossholder, who finished 11th with a time of 18:22.22 to earn Third Team All-American honors. Ashley Lindeman was 18th in a time of 18:45.51 and Melissa Ricci finished 28th with a time of 19:03.79. Madison Slater was 29th in time of 19:13.58, while Alyssa Mankey rounded out the scorers with a time of 19:24.85 to finish 41st. This is their second Division I Women's Cross Country National Title and sixth Women's Cross Country Title overall. 

Women's Cross Country - Wed, Sep. 14, 2016

The Lansing Community College women's cross country team is ranked number one in the first United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll. The Stars ran in the Olivet College Comet Open on September 1st While no score was kept for the meet, Lansing took the top four spots in the race. Casey Messholder won the race followed by Melissa Ricci, Kaitlin Meyer and Abby Linderman. The Stars will run Friday afternoon in the Spartan Invitational in East Lansing, MI.

Women's Cross Country - Sun, Nov. 15, 2015

The Lansing Community College women's cross country team claimed their fifth NJCAA National Women's Cross Country Championship and the their first at the Division I level. The Stars won Division II titles in 1991, 1992, 1994 and 1995. The Stars finished with 92 points, ahead of host Iowa Central Community College at the meet held in Fort Dodge, IA on Saturday. The title is the 19th in the history of Lansing Community College and the tenth for the cross country program regardless of gender.
