Volleyball - Wed, Sep. 21, 2016

The Schoolcraft College volleyball team has entered the top 20 in the NJCAA Division II volleyball poll this week at number 18. The Ocelots, who are 8-2 overall and 2-0 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference, after defeating St. Clair County Community College last night. They defeated Mott Community College last week in their only match. Schoolcraft will return to the court on Thursday night when they host Henry Ford College at 7 PM. 

Volleyball - Wed, Sep. 14, 2016

The Grand Rapids Community College women's volleyball team is ranked 20th for the third straight NJCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Poll. The Raiders are 7-4 overall and 4-0 in the MCCAA Western Conference. The Raiders defeated Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Glen Oaks Community College last week. They will return to action on Thursday when the travel to Muskegon Community College to face the Jayhawks.

The Grand Rapids Community College volleyball team is ranked 20th in the first regular season volleyball poll. The Raiders, who were also 20th in the pre-season poll, are 6-4 overall and 3-0 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They defeated Kalamazoo Valley Community College on Tuesday night after going 0-4 at the Owens Express Invitational over the weekend. They travel to Centreville, MI on Thursday to face Glen Oaks Community College at 6:30 PM. 

Volleyball - Thu, Sep. 1, 2016

Muskegon Community College sophomore setter Lindsey Jacobs has been named NJCAA Division II Volleyball Player of the Week, Jacobs, who led the Jayhawks to a 3-1 record at the Battle of the Dells Tournament over the weekend, had 26 kills and hit .333 for the four matches. She had 24 digs and 148 set assists. She also average 0.571 blocks per set for the 14 sets of the tournament. Muskegon returns to action tonight hosting Jackson College in a MCCAA Western Conference match.
