Volleyball - Thu, Dec. 3, 2015

St. Clair County Community College sophomore outside hitter Kendall Stoll has been named a NJCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Second Team All-American. Stoll had 486 kills in 142 sets and hit .241 this season.  She average 3.42 kills per set and had 70 services aces for the MCCAA Eastern Conference Co-Champion Skippers. Stoll played in 40 matches, with 16 assists, 483 digs and 42 blocks. The Skippers lost in the championship of the MCCAA/NJCAA District E Championship and finished the season with a 34-6 record. 

Volleyball - Wed, Nov. 25, 2015

The Muskegon Community College women's volleyball team competed in the NJCAA Division II National Volleyball Tournament last week in Phoenix, AZ. The Jayhawks, who won the MCCAA/NJCAA District E Tournament to qualify, lost both their matches at the tournament to finish the season with 25-17 overall record. 

Volleyball - Thu, Nov. 5, 2015

The top three teams in the MCCAA Eastern and Western Conference will meet in Muskegon this week to compete in the MCCAA/NJCAA District E Volleyball tournament. The winner of the six team tournament will be both the MCCAA volleyball champion and the NJCAA District E Champion. They will also advance to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament in Phoenix, AZ starting November 19. The tournament will run Friday through Sunday. Friday and Saturday's matches will be played at Reeths-Puffer High School, while the matches on Sunday will be at Muskegon Community College. 

Volleyball - Wed, Oct. 28, 2015

The St. Clair County Community College women's volleyball team moved up two spots this week to number 16 in the NJCAA Division II women's volleyball poll. The Skippers are 29-4 overall and 6-1 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. They have clinched a spot in the NJCAA District E Volleyball Tournament. They went 3-0 last week, defeating Schoolcraft College in four sets, Cuyahoga Community College in three sets and formerly fifth ranked Owens Community College in five sets. They hit the court again tomorrow when they host Macomb Community College before closing out their MCCAA Eastern Conference at Alpena Community College.
