Adrianna Beltran of Schoolcraft College finished 11th at the NJCAA Division III women's cross country nationals at Delhi, NY today to earn Honorable Mention All-American honors.  Beltran ran the 5K course in 21:18.  Layne Marinski also earned Honorable Mention All-American honors finishing 13th in a time of 21:38.  Elisa Sharp finished 28th in a time of 22:40 to round out the Ocelots women's runners.  

Four Michigan Community College Athletic Association teams placed at the NJCAA Division I National Cross Country Championship at Rend Lake (IL) College in Ina, IL today.  Mott Community College finished 11th with a total of 373 points, just four points ahead of Lansing Community College in 12th.  Oakland Community College finished 21st with 505 points and Muskegon Community College finished 29th with 760 points.  Jackson Community College, Kirtland Community College and Macomb Community College also placed runners in the meet but did not field a full team.

The Lansing Community College men's cross country team claimed their sixteenth straight Michigan Community College Athletic Association men's cross country title on Saturday at Grand Woods Park in Lansing, MI. The Stars finished with 49 points just ahead of Oakland Community College with 54 points.  Mott Community College finished third with 64 points.  Lansing also claimed the Region XII title on Saturday.

The Lansing Community College men's cross country team moved up on spots to number six in this week's NJCAA Division I men's cross country poll.  The Stars won the Jayhawk Invitaional last week.  Mott Community College moves up five spots this week to number 11.  The Bears finished second in the Jayhawk Invitaitonal last Friday.
