Emily Meyer, MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week, Oakland CC

Oakland Community College sophomore Emily Meyer (Davison, MI/Davison) has been named MCCAA Eastern Conference Pitcher of the Week. Meyer made four appearances last week going 3-0 with three complete games, tossing 14.1 innings, scattering six hits allowing five runs, four earned, walking one and striking out five. Mott Community College's Joey Newton was also nominated for the award.
