Fernando Rivera, MCCAA Northern Conference Baseball Player of the Week, Grand Rapids CC

Grand Rapids Community College sophomore middle infielder/outfielder Fernando Rivera (Cayey, PR/Greenville) has garnered the MCCAA Northern Conference Baseball Player of the Week. Rivera hit .583, collecting 14 hits, four doubles, a tiple and 2 home runs. He also scored 13 runds, walked once, stole five bases and drove in 13 runs. He had a 1.983 slugging percentage for seven games. Also nominated were Xavier Whittle of Bay College and Drew Markley of Muskegon Community College.
