Champions in the Classroom! 78 Programs Claim All-Academic Team Status, 1,080+ Student-Athletes Earn Academic All-Conference Honors

The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) unveiled its annual academic honors on Tuesday (July 2) and a total of 78 teams were named 2023-24 MCCAA All-Academic Teams, while an impressive 1,085 student-athletes earned academic honors to culminate an amazing year of academic and athletic success. To earn MCCAA All-Academic Team honors, a team must achieve a 3.0+ team GPA in the current academic year. Academic All-Conference honors are earned by student-athletes who posted a 3.0+ GPA and passed a minimum of 24 credit hours during the current academic year (gradution/NJCAA exemptions apply). Academic All-MCCAA honors were earned by those with a 3.2+ GPA and a minimum 24 credit hours passed during the current academic year (graduation/NJCAA exemptions apply). Of note, over 80 student-athletes from representative institutions achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout the 2023-24 academic year.
