91 Programs Named MCCAA Academic Teams After Posting 3.0+ Team GPA

The student-athletes of the MCCAA were excellent in the classroom this past season as a grand total of 91 teams earned MCCAA Academic Team status. To achieve MCCAA Academic Team status, an MCCAA-sponsored sport must record a 3.0 or above cumulative team GPA throughout the current academic year.
Mott Community College led the MCCAA with seven programs earning team GPAs of 3.00 or higher during the 2025–26 academic year. The Bears' seven recognized teams were the most of any conference member, with their wrestling program leading the conference in its sport while baseball, men's cross country, and men's golf each finished third among their respective sports.
