2025 MCCAA Volleyball Awards Announced, Association’s Three Conference Champions Each Bring Home Coach and Player of the Year Honors

The 2025 MCCAA Volleyball Awards were announced on Tuesday (Nov. 11) and the association's three conference champions were the big winners as all three took home their respective conference's Coach and Player of the Year honors.

Northern Conference

Player of the Year: Taylor Kik, Grand Rapids

Freshman of the Year: Vanessa Walker, Grand Rapids

Coach of the Year: Chip Will, Grand Rapids (also MCCAA & Great Lakes District B Coach of the Year)

Western Conference

Player of the Year: Amie Schutz, Southwestern Michigan

Freshman of the Year: Elizabeth Sweeney, Kalamazoo Valley

Coach of the Year: Jenny Nate, Southwestern Michigan

Eastern Conference

Player of the Year: Breanna Gentner, St. Clair County

Freshman of the Year: Maggie Elliott, Mott

Coach of the Year: Michelle McCulloch, St. Clair County (also Great Lakes District A Coach of the Year)
